๐ First Cold Campaign โ Playbook
A coaching journey for non-technical coaches โ five plain-English steps from a fresh Colder signup to your first 10 cold emails in the inbox. Each step lands you inside the part of Colder that handles it. No SDR jargon, no marketing speak.

Verify your sending domain.
SPF, DKIM and DMARC are the three DNS records mailbox providers (Gmail, Outlook, your prospect's company) check before they trust your email. They must all pass or most of what you send will land in spam โ no matter how good the copy is. You are "done" with this step when the deliverability wizard shows all three records green and your domain has a clean status badge.

Warm up for ~10 days.
Even with perfect DNS, a brand-new sending address has no reputation yet โ Gmail and Outlook have never heard of it. Warmup is the gradual ramp from 10โ20 emails a day up to your target volume, so they learn to trust you without flagging you as spammy. The Domain Warmup card on /settings has a full week-by-week volume table. You are "done" when you've sent 10โ20/day for 10 days without bounces or spam complaints.

Import a small list of leads.
Drop a CSV of 10โ50 prospects into the upload box on your dashboard โ that's roughly 200โ400 personalised emails, comfortably under any deliverability limit. Required columns: name and email. Optional: company, title (the more you include, the more personalised the AI draft will be). Because you're new to this, keep the list small โ quality beats quantity in the first campaign.

Load the Day 1 / Day 3 / Day 7 follow-up sequence.
Three short emails, spaced out, sent automatically โ Day 1 is your opener, Day 3 is a soft nudge, Day 7 is a final follow-up. The sequence auto-pauses the moment a prospect replies, so you never end up double-emailing someone who already said yes. You are "done" when all three steps are scheduled and your prospects show "queued" in the dashboard. The follow-up scheduler handles the timing.

Watch your Reply Inbox.
Every reply comes back to one place โ Colder's unified Reply Inbox โ even if the prospect replies days later from a different device. Read, mark it as interested / not interested / follow up later, and reply back without leaving Colder. Whatever you do, reply from inside the Inbox so the rest of the sequence stays paused for that prospect.
